Platforms and dates
PS5, Xbox, iOS, and Android are not on the Steam, Shochiku, or Nintendo lists. Switch 2 support is Nintendo’s compatibility line, not a native edition. Steam’s date is 4 November 2026. Switch’s date is 5 November 2026. The US Steam sale price on the check date was $9.59 against $11.99, through 18 November. Japan was ¥1,200 against ¥1,500. The US eShop stayed at $11.99.

Names, length, mods, and the campaign
This is not Sakura Wars. That is Sega’s series from 1996. It is also not Hollow Knight, and it is not Marvelous’s Eternal Anima. The Japanese title is 夢幻桜楼閣, read むげんおうろうかく. A clear time is not on HowLongToBeat. Steam Workshop is not listed on the store categories I checked, and no official mod tool is named.
The CAMPFIRE campaign was still open on 7 Nov 2026: ¥1,629,770, 325 percent, 128 backers, 12 days remaining. 4Gamer’s 22 October note had it at 200 percent and about ¥1,000,000. I use the later campaign-page reading and I do not call the campaign finished. A physical edition is not on the publisher pages. PlayAsia has a European preorder with no price. NoobFeed says a physical version exists.

Is Eternal Palace Sakura related to Sakura Wars?
No. Sakura Wars is Sega’s series. This game is developed by Denneko Yuugi and published by Shochiku.
Is it related to Hollow Knight?
No shared developer, publisher, or store listing connects the two.
Is there a demo?
Steam’s free demo is app 4070720. A Switch demo is not listed on the US Nintendo page.
What does Mugen Depth do?
It is the risk meter. Moving, looting, and resting raise it. The sakura room spends HP to lower it. See the Mugen Depth guide.
Are there mods?
Steam’s category list does not show Workshop, and no official mod tool is named on the publisher pages.
